Jack and Trixie were the first cats we ever had. They were born in a barn in Rockford, IL. We had no idea about what kind of cats we wanted, we just told my sister who knew people that had some barn cats that we wanted two. They turned out awesome, of course, but they were just the beginning of our life with cats.

Maxxx is our third cat. He had some Mainecoon in him. The colors and the feather tail hair. The M on his forehead. He was a super sweetie. He was kind of afraid of anything really. He might be rolling around in catnip and if he heard a noise he was unfamiliar with, he was gone in a second. He loved to snuggle and we miss him and think of him always.
Cosmo, also known as Cosmo-Louie is a chubby little guy with a story most kitty's don't get to tell. He had a thyroid issue and was having health problems because of it. He got to go and get radioactive iodine therapy. He had to go stay at the clinic for 3 days. When he came home he was supposed to stay in his own room at night because he was still a bit radio active LOL! But it did cure his thyroid issue and now he eats and gains weight just fine. He's chubby now, which isn't good, but he's working on it. He likes to stay in our bedroom with the door closed so no other cats come bother him. If he gets bored he will come out and roam around, but most of the time he likes to stay in his 'apartment' room. He is very good boy.
Oscar was a lover. He really loved him mama. She misses him a lot too. He was a sweet special little guy. He was Phinneus' brother. they looked very similar. It was the white tip on Phin's tail that helped me tell them apart. He would just come over and nap by you any time he could. Just a great, sweet boy.
Phinneus is Oscars brother. He likes to sneak into Cosmo's 'apartment' room and eat his special kidney food. He always comes in our room at night too. The problem with that is he likes to talk. Just before going to sleep and early in the morning. Not the best times to be yelling at me LOL. I have actually learned two of his words though. I know the exact meow for food and for open the door. Very similar, but just a bit different. You wouldn't know the difference just hearing it for the first time. But when I hear that open the door meow it's in my best interest to get out of bed and open the door for him or he will sing me a song until I do. He is good boy too.
Katie, brother to Bob. They were kittens of a stay cat we cought in our yard. Penelope was what we called her. When took her in we kept in touch and when she had her babies we got 3 of them. Katie & Bob stayed with us and their other brother Felix went to live with my sister. She also had a few more, siamese type kitties. Not sure where they ended up. There were a lot of them though. Katie has two kinks in her tail, one in the middle and one at the end. The end of her tail takes a 90 degree turn aobut an inch. She also has no chin. You can kind of tell that in her picture here. She has short legs and when she runs it looks like her legs go extra fast. She is a good kitty. I actually have a shirt with her ptcture on it that was a gift. The only cat that got their face on a shirt. She likes to come sit by me every nitght before bed.
Bob, brother to Katie. Bob likes to talk. A lot. All the time. You really have to get used to it like you have to get used to cat hair all over everything and hairballs. He has an adorable little white gotee and the white on his chest kind of goes into a star shape. He is a good boy, but you really need to pay attention to him and pet him because he will just sit there an yell at you until you do. He used to sleep by my feet every night until he got evicted from our room for making biscuits on his mama every morning waking her up way too early. Now he sits outside the room and yells and bats at the door knob making more noise than if he was in the room. He will try to sneak in Cosmo's 'aparttment' room any chance he gets. And all he wants to do is lay on the bed or under the covers. He is a good boy.
Bazinga was a silly guy. He always wanted to help you no matter what you were working on. He would insist he could help. He had long hair and a feather tail. He like to get combed almost as much as Maui. He got diabetes and went downhill very fast. I miss this guy. He would always do silly things to make me laugh. Never any trouble. Just a great kitty. i can't wait to see him again.
Maui, also known as Mau-Mau. He's a big guy. He's like 18 lbs. but he is big. Yeah, he may be a little fat, but not much. He's a giant. And he loves to be combed. He will let you comb him forever. He will also try to kill you by walking between your legs any chance he can get. Of all our cats, he's probably the one to pull off taking one of us out. It would be a jesture of love though, he just wants attention, LOL. He is also afraid of anything he has not seen or heard of before. Door bell, or a voice he doesn't know and he is gone is a second. Fast as can be. He will usually hide under the couch. You wouldn't think he would fit, but that's his first got to hiding spot. Second will be the basement. Lots of places to hide down there. You won't see him unitl it's quiet in the house for about 30 minutes, or he gets hungry. He is a good boy.
